2. Students write diary entry in the words of Gatsby and Daisy.
Write two diary entries, one as Daisy and one as Gatsby, using information from this scene, pages 79-85 (74-80).
The time period begins in October of 1917.
For Daisy, write about the period just before her wedding, including the scene with the letter.
For Gatsby, include what he might have written in that letter to Daisy before her marriage to Tom.
Remember, a diary describes the people who lived and the events that have occurred during a particular time, as well as the writer's thoughts and feelings about these people and experiences.
